Terri Douglas combines a laser-focused commitment to client service with a tenacious pursuit of bottom-line results. A veteran of the high-tech world, she has more than 25 years experience leading the PR/IR activities of industry leaders and emerging growth companies. At Catapult, Douglas is responsible for the strategy, development and execution of customized PR programs that move your business forward. She also leads investor relations initiatives, and assists with positioning and messaging and corporate public relations.
Prior to Catapult, Douglas served as CEO and founder of Douglas Communications, Inc., an independent, full-service public and investor relations firm specializing in high-tech markets. Douglas Communications provided cost-effective and qualitative results for broad range of clients in varying technology markets, including Corporate Express, NBI, Capital Associates, Cellular One, DeviceGuys, Spatial Technology and the Software Edge.
In addition, Douglas has an extensive investor relations background with more than 18 years experience defining and implementing strategic IR programs that increase business value and shareholder confidence. Almost half this experience she garnered as an employee for the various high technology companies in which she worked — most often as Investor Relations Director reporting either to the CFO or President within the organization.
Douglas is the recipient of numerous awards, including PRSA's Gold Pick Annual Report Award, Financial World's Annual Report Award and two National Association of Investment Club's Nicholson Awards, recognizing excellence in Annual Report production. She serves on the National Investor Relations Institute’s Rocky Mountain Chapter.
The lighter side of Terri Douglas – At Catapult, Terri is known for maxing out the email server capacity, though it’s not clear whether that’s because she sends and receives more emails than everyone else, or simply that she refuses to delete old messages. Either way, don’t be surprised if you receive an email from her at 2 a.m. because this PR maven runs on very little sleep. Terri and her husband Paul live in Boulder, and have two children in college. They are also the proud guardians to a yellow lab puppy, Bella, who is one of the few who can match Terri’s energy.
Guy Murrel provides strategic PR counsel to Catapult clients, helping them articulate their story to break through the noise and capture market leadership. With more than 20 years of experience, the last 15 focused on exclusively on the high-tech industry, Murrel has developed the positioning and messaging framework for start-ups, emerging growth companies and Fortune 1000 companies.
As co-founder and principal of Catapult, Murrel is a hands-on leader with proven expertise in executing the strategic and tactical aspects of multi-dimensional public relations campaigns. Prior to Catapult, Murrel was the president of Murrel Public Relations (MPR), a private company that he established in 1995 after noticing there were few full-service firms qualified to serve the growing tech community in the Denver-Boulder area. At MPR, he provided strategic, results-oriented media relations and marketing communications services to a range of technology companies. Previously, Murrel gained extensive high technology experience working for several successful public relations agencies. As a senior management partner, he performed a wide range of corporate communications functions, including strategic planning, writing of news releases and technical articles, media tours and audits, editorial outreach and management of junior staff members.
The lighter side of Guy Murrel – Guy’s storytelling abilities don’t end with helping companies turn technical innovation into market advantage. This PR veteran is a song writer as well, and even cut his own CD under the name Narrow Gauge Band. So the next time there’s a live band playing at your favorite Front Range pub, don’t be surprised to find Guy sitting in on bass. Guy and his wife Irina live in Lafayette with their two sons.

Like most Boulderites, Mary has a favorite Colorado ski town, and she tries to sneak off to Aspen every chance she gets. Mary and her husband Jack live in Boulder, and have two daughters.

The lighter side of Christie Denniston – Despite playing a role in the PR of some of the most cutting-edge technologies of the 21st century, Christie still marvels at the genius behind the Thermos®. Indeed the insulated product, which for the past 100 years has been keeping hot things hot and cold things cold, could come in handy if Christie ever gets lost on the expansive Anderson family farm. A Colorado native, Christie and her husband Mark live in Longmont.

Keener holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Colorado and has completed graduate-level coursework in book publishing from the University of Denver’s Publishing Institute.
The lighter side of Jim Keener – To see him now, you’d be surprised to learn that Jim used to wear his hair long. Very long. In fact, rumor has it he was once a dead ringer for any number of 60’s rockers or modern day “jam band” icons. Today, the only thing shaggy about this clean-cut PR pro is his 120 lb. Bernese Mountain Dog, Daphne. Jim and his wife Kathy live in Boulder with their two young sons.
