The ThoughtWorks Quarterly Tech Briefings provide area IT professionals and executives the opportunity to engage with ThoughtWorks' experts to learn the latest practices and strategies for successful Agile deployments. During her presentation, Parsons will discuss "Making IT & Business Work," a presentation based on her 20+ years of application development experience. She will describe a variety of techniques that help IT organizations release software more rapidly and cope with the fast pace of change. Techniques include Continuous Delivery - an evolutionary approach to enterprise architecture - and more effective use of software metrics. She also will discuss how leaders can manage the organizational structure of IT to influence the ability of an enterprise to extract maximum value from its technology investments.
