FREEWAVE TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES NEW ENHANCEMENTS TO ITS POPULAR TOOL SUITE PLATFORM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Newest version of free software offers diagnostics support for company’s FGR+ and HT+ Series wireless data radios

BOULDER, Colo., October 29, 2009 — FreeWave Technologies, (http://www.freewave.com), manufacturer of the most reliable, high-performance spread spectrum and licensed radios for critical data transmission, today announced its latest release of FreeWave Tool Suite, a software platform for managing radio configuration and network diagnostics needs from a single interface. The latest version (V.2.2) adds diagnostic support for the company’s FGRplus and HTplus Series of radios. It is ideal for multiple markets, including oil and gas, water/wastewater, electric power, irrigation/agriculture, cathodic protection and solar/wind power. FreeWave Tool Suite is available free to all FreeWave customers.

Tool Suite V.2.2 is available now and is free to FreeWave customers. Existing ToolSuite customers can download the latest version by clicking on the “Updates” button in the lower left hand corner of their ToolSuite application. Customers who want to download ToolSuite for the first time need to contact FreeWave’s Technical Support Department (see contact information below) and request a customer log-in.
