LEADING RESEARCH ANALYSTS TO DISCUSS LATEST INDUSTRY TRENDS AND BEST PRACTICES AT AGILE 2010 CONFERENCE
First ever industry analyst roundtable will explore technology trends, market dynamics and emerging best practices around Agile software practices
PORTLAND, Ore., July 28, 2010 – The Agile Alliance, (http://agilealliance.org/), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the advancement of Agile software development principles and practices, today announced it will host an industry analyst roundtable at the Agile 2010 conference featuring four leading research analysts covering the Agile software market. Set for Tues., Aug.10 at 5:30-6:30 p.m., at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort, the roundtable will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to gain insights into the state of the Agile industry and what developments will likely occur during the coming months and years.
Titled “Agile Trends and Future Directions,” this moderated, Q&A formatted session will provide industry experts from leading research firms with a forum to discuss the latest trends and emerging best practices around Agile software development. Attendees will learn how successful software organizations are utilizing Agile to drive business performance and how the latest innovations in Agile practices continue to mature as development organizations deploy Agile further across the enterprise. Moderated by Jim Newkirk, the Conference Chair for Agile 2010, participants in the roundtable include: Dave West, Forrester Research; David Norton, Gartner; Melinda Ballou, IDC; and, Michael Azoff, Ovum Research.
