BOULDER, Colo. - Jan. 29, 2009 -- FreeWave Technologies, the largest independent provider of high performance spread spectrum and licensed radio products and services, today announced its new DataLogger software for Cathodic Protection (CP) remote monitoring. The new software works in conjunction with FreeWave's line of FGRCP radios, including its newly announced 2.4 MHz CP radio (see today's news release "FreeWave Introduces New 2.4 MHz Cathodic Protection Radio") and assists in remotely monitoring and reporting CP operational values for pipelines, tanks, structures and other underground facilities that are subject to environmental corrosion.

FreeWave's new CP DataLogger software is compatible with standard off-the-shelf PCs and other FreeWave radio products. The software loads quickly and is easily configurable on any laptop or desktop computer with an easy-to-use installation wizard.
