Cheers to 17 Years for Catapult in the high-tech PR trenches!

Today Catapult PR is celebrating 17 years as a boutique public relations firm in the high-tech B2B market. Since 1999, this agency has ridden the highs and lows of the tech industry. We’ve helped numerous companies lead markets, build and own categories and, in many instances, get purchased or lead to successful IPOs. Over the years, we’ve become a leader in developing our clients’ strategic narratives; increasing their visibility among industry influencers and their audiences; and, launching new market categories. It’s been quite a ride and there will be no slowing down as we head into another year.

Catapult wouldn’t be where it is today without our people. We have a history of long-term employees who are passionate about what they do and know how to deliver excellence to our clients. Every single employee and intern, past and present, has poured their heart into this agency and has been instrumental in our success. Simply put – we know how to get stuff done.

We can thank our principals and co-founders, Guy Murrel and Terri Douglas, for setting this tone. Talk about passion – Guy and Terri are deeply embedded in Catapult – 17 years later. They get their hands dirty every single day alongside the team, doing whatever it takes to help our clients reach their goals– whether it’s day-to-day tactical duties like working on a press release, or mapping out an entire strategic narrative and category launch.

As we think about 17 years in business, we are so incredibly thankful for all of our clients – past and present. Catapult clients are the lifeblood of the agency and we’ve been fortunate to provide our services to over 140 tech companies throughout the years. We’ve also had incredible opportunities to work with industry visionaries and help them deliver unique, impactful messages to their markets. It is a delight to work for innovative companies with great people every single day and it drives our passion to deliver tangible results.

Today our team will take a moment to reflect on the focus, dedication and sacrifice it took for Catapult to be what it is today. We’ll remember our biggest wins and bumps along the road, each equally forming our path. But just for a minute – because we have work to do!

Then, we’ll continue doing what we do best, which is propelling our clients to the forefront of their industry through their strategic narrative, PR, social media and content marketing. In a lot of ways this is just the beginning for us. I think we are heading into our most exciting and distinctive year yet –you’ll see what I mean in the next couple of weeks.
